First Night Overnight Program

Register now for COSI's First Night Overnight Program for children ages 9-14! This exciting overnight program includes amazing science and fun - plus a chance to spend the night at COSI! Includes dinner, refreshments, COSI exhibitions, and breakfast the following morning. Program time is 6pm to 10am the following morning. Wrap-around care is available between 5-6pm and 10am-noon for an additional fee.

Experience the Joys of Toys: Trains

Friday 4pm-9pm, Saturday 10am-4pm

The weekend before Christmas will feature three different train layouts from the Central Ohio Model Railroad Club, The Columbus Garden Railway Society and the Central Ohio O-Scale Engineers - something for all ages! Plus, a visit from Clifford, The Big Red Dog.

Community Open House

Community Open House is COSI's annual FREE day! Visit all of COSI's dynamic exhibits,live shows including the Holiday Lights Show, and see Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia, one of COSI's 7-story Extreme Screen films, courtesy of Time Warner Cable. Plus this year, see a special, limited showing of "The Universe" in COSI's Dome Theater for just $4 per person. Parking will be reduced on Community Open House to just $2 per car. more info...

Experience the Joys of Toys: Building Toys

Friday 4pm-9pm, Saturday 10am-4pm

For two days we will celebrate the creativity that can be uniquely expressed with LEGOS and other building toys. COSI's own RATiO mascot will be visiting for a holiday photo opportunity.

Experience the Joys of Toys: A Day of Make Believe

11am-3pm

Make Believe will be the order of the day where children can role-play with stuffed animals, puppets, and dolls. The activities will be a combination of seeing classic and collectable dolls provided by area doll museums, puppet shows, storytelling and a chance to make a doll and puppet to take home. BalletMet will provide story telling from the story of the Nutcracker and their mascot the "Nuthead". COSI will also be raffling off a beautiful doll house during the holidays - tickets will be available that day. Curious George will also be on-hand that day to meet & greet guests and have an opportunity for a holiday photo.

Experience the Joys of Toys: Board Games

4pm-9pm

Your family will have a chance to play the newest and classic board games as the Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA) will bring games that everyone can enjoy. In addition, Curious George will be our special guest and there will be opportunities for visitors to get a holiday photo with George in his "Santa" hat.

The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business

Professor Ford's research focuses on breakdowns in communications links and the role of communications in organizational behavior and change. His work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management Education and Journal of Marketing Research. He was elected as a charter member in the Academy of Management Journal's Hall of Fame. He also received the Academy's Bronze Award for research and a Best Paper Award. Dr. Ford is a frequent consultant to organizations such as Intel and Mead Paper.

New Extreme Screen Film opening November 18th! Thanks to the magic of the giant screen, Dinosaurs. Giants of Patagonia provides a unique occasion to get a true experience of the incredible size and strength of these creatures that once roamed the Earth.
