Hello to all of you.
I am still a student of GIS and about to do a study, where I try to find explanatory factors for the distribution of Asthma on a national scale. I collected a number of variables and have asthma rate per Census Area Unit, and prepared my variables so that I do have environmental and social factors like mean temperature etc on Census Area Unit level as well. I just started straight forward using OLS and GWR in ArcGIS, but my results where all pretty unsatisfactory with a very low adjusted R². Since this is the first time I am doing a spatial analysis like this I am actually quite insecure about the "normal" process. I am wonderint whether other statistical methods might be more appropriate as well. I would be thankful for any tip on how to better approach this topic and if there are any more appropriate methods to use I´d be more than happy if someone could help me there too. I am really thankful for any advice and highly appreciate it!
Regards and thanks in advance!
