Send Messages To send mail to everyone on the list, the address
to MapInfo-L is: MapInfo-L@lists.directionsmag.com. Please do NOT
send file attachments. These can be uploaded to the
free files site at
http://www.directionsmag.com/tools/upload.asp.
MapInfo-L We're using a mailing list package called "Majordomo"
Commands written by Brent Chapman. To get help on majordomo,
send email to majordomo@lists.directionsmag.com, and
put the command 'help' (without the quotes) in the
body of the message. A help file will be mailed back
to you automatically.
To subscribe to MapInfo-L, send email to
majordomo@lists.directionsmag.com, and put in the
message body:
SUBSCRIBE MapInfo-L
Note that case doesn't matter, but unlike the
listserv software, you must spell out 'subscribe'
completely. The majordomo software will auto-
matically subscribe you, and you will recieve an
email message confirming that you have been added to
the list.
To cancel your subscription and stop receiving mail
from MapInfo-L, send email to
majordomo@lists.directionsmag.com, and put in the
message body:
UNSUBSCRIBE MapInfo-L
