Good morning Listers Yesterday someone was asking about this, here's what I came up with...
> I Hi, download my script "Angle (azimuth) between two points > <http://gis.esri.com/arcscripts/details.cfm?CFGRIDKEY=A18C2F77-407A-11D4-9 > 42F00508B0CB419>" from the ArcScripts page > <http://gis.esri.com/arcscripts/scripts.cfm> of the ESRI website. Load it > into a script editor document and compile it. Name the script > "ReturnLineSegmentAzimuth". Then add a new tool to the View's toolbar, > make its apply script point to a new script document and load the System > Script "View.LineTool" into it. Add the following lines to the end of the > script and compile it: > theAngle = av.Run("ReturnLineSegmentAzimuth",{l.ReturnStart,l.ReturnEnd}) > MsgBox.Info(theAngle.AsString,"Angle of your line") > This will pop up a message box with the azimuth (degrees between 0-360 > with due north being 0, east being 90, etc) of the user's line. > Email <mailto:temp@mugford.org> me back if you can't figure out any of > these steps. [Lega, Robert\
