Subject: GISList: Mapguide Urgent ODBC problem
Date:  08/09/2001 05:54:02 AM
From:  Manuel Rivero

Hi all
I've got several OLE DB data source layers.
I'm coneccting to a DB2/400 through a Client Access ODBC Driver.
Each layer retrieves data from tables which are in different libraries =
in
the database.
I include every library in the ODBC:
SGBD_ATR, SGBD_SIG
When I set the properties of the layer and accept I get the foollowing =
error
message:
[IBM\[Client Access Express ODBC Driver (32 bits)\[DB2/400
SQL\SQL0204 - *FILE type SIG00010 not found in SGBD_ATR

I think the problem could be that MapGuide is only accessing the first
library in the ODBC, so it doesn't recognize the tables, as SIG00010, =
which
are in another library
.
I don't have this problem when I use the same ODBC from Visual Basic, I =
can
work with several libraries using the same ODBC.

Is there anyway to do that with Mapguide or you've to create an ODBC for
each library in the DB2/400?
How can this problem be solved?

Thanks in advance
Best regards
Manuel
