There is an interesting article in the current issue of High Country
News about how different maps of the Klamath River Basin produce very
different perspectives on resource use there:

A good case-study in how maps can be used to promote one side of an
issue or another (reminiscent of "How to Lie with Maps" by Mark
Monmonier).
