Hello all:
Im working on implementing a GIS for various Environmental Management
issues on a large facility. We currently employ a GIS (ESRI) for our
Natural Resource work but would also like to implement it on our home
front for management of hazmats, satellite accumulation sites, storm water
management, etc. This has evolved the processing of numerous CAD files
into a format thats more palatable for ArcInfo/ ArcView. We are
undertaking this with our facilities department that is opting to use
Archibus for its facilities/space management needs. My questions are
these: Is there somewhere I can look for an unbiased review of the
archibus software, How compatible are the two software products, and is
there anything out there, from the GIS side of things, that is geared
towards the management of facilities? Thanks in advance for any help or
information.
