Thanks all. I received dozens of responses - too many to list.
I hadn't realized it was so easy to insert a map (as an image) into
excel. Most suggested jpg, but wmf, bmp and pdf were also suggested.
I already had copies of some of my maps in wmf and they looked great.
A couple of people suggested MIF format, which coincides with what I
read - that excel uses MapInfo maps which can then be made
interactive. As I do not not have MapInfo, I guess I will not be able
to try this out. Has anyone on the list had experience with this?
