Is there a source for this same discussion with reference to the UK?

I am preparing a brief document comparing census geography and postal
geography. Can anybody direct me to a site which discusses in easy to
understand language the differences between the two types of geography? a
definition of each? ways to link the two? and so on...
This would be for the United States and/or Canada
