(Sorry for Cross Posting, but the ESRI list seems fairly useless....
since its been 24 hours and the question hasn't even been posted)
#1 How do you lock ArcMap to a certain scale. I tried using the
menu that supposedly locks the scale (under data frame properties i
think), but my problem is that even if I set it specifically to
1:22,000........... if i do any work/zooming/moving after setting it,
the scale can still vary to say "1:21,997" or "1:22,005"
#2 When I place a scale bar on the map, sometimes it has a way of
getting itself "out of whack." No other way to explain it other than
saying the "bounding position" for the scale bar have not changed, but
the graphic that makes up the scalebar has shifted within the "bounds"
(so it looks and prints like it has moved, but it really hasn't)
Anyone dealt with these issues?
