Dear Listers,
I am trying to clip a huge dataset to just one watershed and make a new
polygon theme of the results. I can do this using the Select by Theme to
get just the watershed I want, but when I then transfer the features to the
new polygon theme (using XTools extension), the attributes don't transfer
over. I just get a blank i.d. attribute table.
I know it's possible to do this with attributes intact, because I have some
of those clipped datasets already. BUT I don't remember how it's done.
Can someone tell me the procedure?
Using ArcView 3.1
Calwater 2.2 dataset converted to shapefile
