Subject: GISList: poor performance with 11 data frames in ArcGIS

I have 11 data frames in ArcGIS that all are pretty data intensive including
aerials, transparent overlays, transportation data, etc. Boy oh boy is it
slow! Am I doing something wrong? All of the data frames refer to the same
files.
