Hi,
A map was to be geo-referenced in arcview and the following specification
was given.
Gauß Krüger(Transerverse Mercator, Potsdam Datum, Bessel-Ellipsoid)
Easting:
34 56
25 (in km) Northing: 30 (in km).
How can I translate this specification with respect to arcview. I understand
that this has to be taken as mercator projection,but
have doubts about potsdam datum and about the Northing.To my knowledge for
all the zones in germany False Northing is 0.
Any information regarding this would be greatly helpful.
