Hi Listers,
I am preparing to tackle a project that will require the following
tasks:
1. Registration of an existing ARC/INFO Parcel (tax parcels, easements,
cadastre history, etc...)coverage with high positional accuracy (+/-
10ft.) to an existing Point/Line Survey Control Coverage (+/- .5ft) via
automated methods.
2. Registration of an existing ARC/INFO Parcel (tax parcels, easements,
cadastre history, etc...)coverage with medium to low positional accuracy
(>+/- 10ft.) to an existing Point/Line Survey Control Coverage (+/-
.5ft) via manual methods.
3. Registration of additional Point/Line/Poly ARC/INFO coverages
(various thematic layers) of varying accuracy to the same Survey Control
Coverage via both automated and manual methods.
Would anyone who has experience in performing this type of work using
ESRI products (or compatible), please send any information you have
(whether high or low level) that might be of benefit towards this effort
on the following areas:
*Technical Methods/Approaches (Automated & Manual)
*Applications
*Commands/Tools
*Pitfalls to Watch Out For
*Other?
