Subject: RE: GISList: Afghanistan data
Date:  09/21/2001 11:16:00 AM
From:  Gene Stahl

Anthony and List,

Absolutely I agree that we are blessed with the ability to speak our minds.
and as for the "jab" I completely missed it. My apologies.

As for the ultimate goals of the terrorists believed to be involved, as a
frustrated
former United States Marine from the Intelligence community, I disagree, but
as that
is not a GIS issue for the board, I'll save it for another time...

S/F!
Gene

Gene & List,

Before others feel the need to lecture as well, I don't question Glenn's
integrity and I am not being overly suspicious. The message was a simple
light hearted jab at a highly sensitive issue in this country and I thought
it was rather harmless. For those of you who think that's bad judgment or
bad taste, at least you have the liberty to have & express such an opinion
as do I. I beg to differ Gene, I doubt the terrorist enemy wants anything
more than full body bags and no, they don't want us to be too suspicious
because it might foil their plans.

Illegitimi non carborundum!
Anthony
