Hello all
Have just learnt from a local dealer that Smartimage
for ArcView 3.2 has now had its price dramatically
dropped due to the introduction of registration in
ArcView 8.
Smartimage is a (very easy to use) image (or scanned
map) registration software that is an extension to
ArcView and Mapinfo.
It also allows clipping and mosaicking and keeps
georeferencing. A very handy tool. I am using it for
some historic air photographs.
The software is sold by dealers around the world but

Thought I would let you know because I was plesantly
surprised at the pricing. Am happy to forward the
email I received to anyone interested.
Things are getting more interesting by the day in the
GIS world.
