Dimitri and other GISLIST subscribers,
One of our web developers just discovered the problem with the USGS map page at = http://infotrek.er.usgs.gov/files/nawqa/beyondgeo_map.htm
The problem is that there is malformed HTML on their web page.
There is a <TABLE> with no "supporting" <TR>, </TR>, <TD>, </TD>, and (most = importantly) </TABLE> HTML tags. The <TABLE> tag needs to be removed. = Internet Explorer has a problem with pages that have <TABLE> tags without = supporting tags.
The USGS is taking care of the problem within their page as we speak.
Dimitri, I have always respected your opinions in the past. You voice them = strongly with much conviction. But, with all due respect, I disagree strongly = with your model/cost arguments against the BeyondGeo and like services. When I = get time down the road I'll get you my thoughts.
Thanks, Jeff.
