Listers,
My USGS colleagues who support the National Water Quality Assessment Program site (with BeyondGeo service) have fixed the problem with the server.
Please give it another look: http://infotrek.er.usgs.gov/files/nawqa/beyondgeo_map.htm
Thanks for bringing the problems to our attention, Hylan

Sandy,
My deepest apologizes.....this was my mistake. I must have accidentally grabbed the table tag when I copied and pasted the links over from the other map site and, because I didn't see any problems on my version of IE or Netscape, did not catch it before publishing. The bits and pieces of the messages suggest that some people were fairly upset by this inconvenience. Please pass my apologies along to them. It was a typo and all I can say in my defense is that I'm still a novice html programmer and it won't happen again.
Thanks,
Carolyn ________

Dimitri,
I've been reading your posts (and subsequent reposts, and subsequent sums) on the GeoComm GIS list regarding problems that you've experienced with the USGS map and BeyondGeo service.
What version of IE are you using?
Please forward the 13 email messages from folks who told you they were having IE problems. We'll check into the issues further.
As well, anyone else who is experiencing a problem should simply click on the "Browser issues" tool on the map toolbar to report the problem directly.
Of course, we're extremely interested in removing any browser compatibility issues immediately as soon as we are aware of them.
Thanks, Jeff jeff.cole@bluemarblegeo.com
