Subject: Fw: GISList: Maps in GML format.
Date:  11/11/2001 02:24:13 PM
From:  Milan Trninic

Hi,

I can provide some sample GML data. It is in GML 2.1 format which is the
latest version. The link to the GML specification that Chris posted is
correct and the version is correct also (2.0). The schemas are of version
2.1 and the difference is only in XMLSchema revision that is used - the
content is the same.
More on GML you can find at the links that Ma posted below. You can start at
our site (http://www.galdosinc.com), see the GML4J at SourceForge, and visit
OpenGIS site (www.opengis.org).
GML is attempt of OpenGIS community to create a standard spatial data format
and provide thw framework for interoperability.

Cheers

Milan
