Mr. Chan,
These files are MrSID compressed raster files. LizardTech is the
owner of MrSID compression and they offer a free viewer. Many of the GIS
products have the ability to view MrSID. We have GE Smallworld and they
have a SOM to look at these. We have not converted the files, rather keep
them compressed and view as needed through the viewer.
