MapInfo has recently updated the MID/MIF format spec., and it's
now available from the MapInfo-L Clearinghouse website at
http://www.directionsmag.com/mapinfo-l/. You can download or view
it directly at
http://www.directionsmag.com/mapinfo-l/mif/AppJ.pdf.
Users should pay close attention to chart for proper versioning
of these files when using new features in MIF files.
