I have not been able to figure out or find information
on what the additional *.gz files are that you can
download with 100K hypsography DLG files.
Example: I'm downloading 100K hypsography data from
geocomm for Jefferson County in Colorado. The data is
contained in a file called DN3.HYPSO.SDTS.TAR.GZ.
There are also four other files available for
download: DN3.HPF03.OPT.GZ, DN3.HPF04.OPT.GZ,
DN3.HPF07.OPT.GZ and DN3.HPF08.OPT.GZ.
What are these for?

P.S. does anyone know what datum these file use or how
I can tell?
