Hi,
Please help I'm new at this side of the GIS business. We are looking to derive products from aerial photography flown with laser points. We have access to the Geotiff image and the laser points which are in the format x,y,z. I need to know the products that can be derived from this. Stuff like street centrelines, building footrpints, places fo interest, street intersections, but also in the lines of DEM/DTM and 3-D fly throughs. With regards to DEM and DTM is there any way of defining specs for the DTM/DEM so a client could get an idea of what he will be getting. Some of the flying was done in urban areas so a 3D image and fly-through of the city is needed. Also what software would be the best for the 3D stuff and do you have any ideas on feature recognition software. Do you have any ideas on other features or products that can be derived.
Thanks Craig
