Subject: GISList: who "internationalizes" GIS products and manuals?
Date:  12/07/2001 10:34:43 AM
From:  Tina Cary

Dear listers,

I have been asked by a couple of clients to identify a consulting firm
that performs product
internationalization services. In one case, the original product is in
Japanese and needs to be made suitable for the North American market. In
the other case, the product originates in the U.S., and the client wants
a company to take the product (along with the client's Software
Requirements
Specification) and make it single and double byte compliant (ISO 10646).
Both clients are in the GIS market, so I hope that someone can direct me
to a company that has an extensive reference list that includes GIS
products/companies.

Many thanks.

Tina
