I would like to try that, and I got the ArcGIS 8 trial version. However, installing it caused my SQL Server and the client for another database to stop working, requiring a reinstallation, so I'm somewhat gun shy.

Jim, With ArcGIS 8, you can connect to the http://www.geographynetwork.com server, and access FEMA flood data images...depending on what you are doing with the data, might be helpful...
