Subject: GISList: RE: [Manifold\ Re: GISList: Wow! SDTS Data overload...

Bob,

Same results as you on the same files. No attributes are imported.
Importer shows there to be 8 or so different attribute tables in each of
those files but they don't get imported.

Something is definatly wrong here. The STDS data I get for my AOI is nearly
worthless. I just downloaded the 24K DLG SDTS data for Morro Bay South from
the USGS. Only three layers are available on the site: Public Lands, Hydo,
and Boudaries. None of the imports had any attribute data after import. I
had selected to link of the data fields on import. The importer shows a
list of layers but only one imports. I have the Smart CR/LF option off in
WinZIP.

Could one of you folks who are working with SDTS data please download a
Morro Bay South 24K file or two and see if you get the attribute data?
Either I'm doing something wrong, manifold is, or the USGS is.

Conversly for whoever is thrilled with their 24K SDTS DLG data please send
me the name of a typical quad you are working with so I can see the results
on my PC?

Thanks!
