Sorry gang, I should have been more explicit and detailed. I have a habit
of not doing that. More specifically, I have tried, with some success to
export the Outlook contacts to an Access database and Excel spreadsheet. I
can get it to come into AV8.1 by creating a query and then saving it as a
"theme", and call it back up at any time. However, it is static, that is,
once I dump from Outlook, bring in and create the theme ad-hoc in AV8.x, it
pretty much stays that way, unless I maintain it in AV8.x (which is like
using a wrench for a hammer). The process is not technically challenging,
just time consuming, and since our database is rather fluid, I'd like to be
able to have it, at some point in the process, update the AV8.x geodatabase
with a single click. I don't necessarily care about physical street address
because it is not necessary and out database is not maintained at that level
consistently. Getting city, state and country would be a big step up.
Problem I get with exporting to Access or Excel is that some of the contact
files have long text files in them, like the Notes field, because, well, I
take alot of notes. Excel likes to truncate this field and so does Access,
so I don't get a complete dump. I know there are always work-arounds, but
that's not really a best-practice I want to feed on, so...

Many have suggested MapPoint. Good suggestion, but not really robust
enough. If there's anyone in the propeller-head field that thinks they can
help or point to an after-market product, muchas gracias in advance.
