Hello list -
A quickie (perhaps): if I have vector data that I need to work with in a
raster format, is there a rule for determining optimal raster resolution?
For example, I have land cover info that was digitized at a 1:50,000 scale,
but I need to work with it in a raster environment. Any references to this
kind of scale issue in format-conversion, or to definition of the Minimum
Mapping Unit in general, would be very sincerely appreciated.
