Prabhakar -

Although it's probably _possible_ to interpolate smaller interval contours,
it's ill-advised. The original contour interval would most likely have been
selected because it was the smallest contour interval which would be within
some specified accuracy based on the scale of the aerial photography used
to make the original map. If you were planning on enlarging the map to a
larger scale, that's also ill-advised.

Can any one tell me to what extent i can intepolate a contour map of
interval 40 metre.
Can i interpolate from this map to lower interval say 10 metre or even 1
metre. Where can i do it.?
