Dear Laraine,
on June 24-28, in Toronto (CA) takes place the International Geosciences
and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS'02, http://www.igarss02.ca)
organised by the Geosciences and Remote Sensing Society of IEEE.
That's not the US, and not in July or August but it is really near!
