I am attempting to use AutoCAD Map 2000i to import point attribute data from
shapefiles. I have performed this task before with no problems but for some
reason this time no object data is created during the import process. During
the import process I specified that object data be created and selected the
required field. The point features import successfully but no object data is
attached. Furthermore, no table has been created as indicated in the edit
object data dialog box. Does anyone know why this could be occurring?
