Subject: GISList: Conversion From Many Polylines to Many Polygons/X-Tools
Date:  02/13/2002 07:37:17 AM
From:  santosh kukian

Hi,
you can try this in autocad map.
only restriction is that the map should be topologically clean.
there is an option to create closed polylines under map menu.
try this out.
it should serve ur purpose.

Subject: GISList: Conversion From Many Polylines to Many Polygons/X-Tools
Importance: High

Hello, ALL

I have a set of polylines representing ponds, wetlands and streams and
am using X-tools to convert the ponds and wetlands to polygons. I was
wondering if there was a utility that would allow "batch processing" of
these polylines into polygons instead of having to select individual
polylines and do them one at a time?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Amin Davis
