this email list (and pretty much any other) are run by a bot, therefore,
they can only accomplish what you ask of them.
In order to unsubscribe successfuly the bot must receive a remove request
from the SAME email client that originally signed up. If you can't unsub
then you are obviously requesting to be removed using a different address.
for example, I have a number of email aliases
gletham@geocomm.com, editor@geocomm.com, glenn@geocomm.com etc... they all
forward to the same email address
If I sign up from editor@geocomm.com but try to remove by sending a request
using gletham@geocomm.com then my efforts will simply be wasted as the
listbot will not recognize me as a subscriber.
Often some email settings change on your end and you may not even be aware
of the changes
If you persist in having problems then do one of the following:
- view ALL headders in your email from the list to find out how you are
registered
- if this still doesn't work then forward a polite request to
webmaster@geocomm.com requesting he help get you off the list (demanding
immediate action, cussing, and calling him names will get you nowhere!)
To help out please forward a message you received from the list to the
webmaster so he can help determine what address to be removed.
