I'm trying to convert the SDTS formatted 30 minute DEM files to run on a locally developed software package (McIDAS). I have yet to find a detailed file strucutre document.
Several people have pointed me to the following link: http://www.gisdatadepot.com/sdts/
If the file structure document is there, I sure couldn't find it!
A file structure would define the bytes for the headers and the data sections, for instance:
Bytes 1-100 File header bytes 1-10 quad name bytes 11-20 lat/lon of corners bytes 90-100 column number and number of rows in the column.
Does such a document exist?
