Subject: RE: GISList: 'webgis' applications- comparison requested
Date:  05/06/2002 09:53:06 AM
From:  Peter DHaeseleer

Hello,

Some more to add to the list...

Manifold IMS (part of Manifold application) at a very interesting price
http://www.manifold.net/, but I'm sure Dimitri here on this list will be
gladly provide you more info on this.

MapXtreme from MapInfo http://www.mapinfo.com

SpatialFX from ObjectFX http://www.objectfx.com

BeyondGeo from Blue Marble Geographics, not really a standalone web GIS
but more an ASP model for web GIS. http://www.bluemarblegeo.com

AltaMap from GeoMicro http://www.geomicro.com/index.htm

Als, you might find some valuable info in the thread from Chris Weaver
and Anthony Quartararo responses here on this list about "Manifold 5 IMS
or GeoMicro's AltaMap Server"

This list is probably incomplete, but I'll be glad to learn of any
alternatives.

Best regards,
Peter.
