Hi
A couple of days ago I posted a request regarding the volume of sales
for mobile products such as ArcPad, OnSite, MapinHand, etc. I expected
to only receive a few responses on the basis that recent data is
difficult to obtain. I had hoped, perhaps naively, that suppliers of
such products who monitor the happenings on this list would tap out a
wee response, but sadly this was not to be.
So assuming some listers are using mobile applications I thought I would
try an alternative approach and request a show of emails from those who
do use such tools. If you would be so kind as to send a quick reply to
this email with at least two words, the first being the name of the
mobile software that you use and the second being the number of
licenses/copies that you purchased.
If you do this for me I shall gladly add up the numbers and report back
to you the results of this wee survey determines. You may then draw any
conclusions that you wish.
