Hello Listers,
I have a data set of approximately 25,000 records in a point file. I have a
set of 25 control points.
I would like to generate the distance from each of the points in the larger
set to it's closest control point, with the end result being a table of
these values, and their appropriate labels (ie: which of the points is being
measured,which of the control points is it closest to, and what is the
distance).
Is there an easy, (or mostly painless) way to do this?
I have access AV3.2, and to spatial analyst but very little experience with
it. I do not know any programming.
Can anyone direct me to a tool, a process or a script which would facilitate
this?
