Sorry for the late reply to this post, but I have not been keeping up with email.
I am a master's degree candidate in geography (GIS) at the City University of New York. We do not offer online degrees, but next semester one of the best preofessors in the department, Chuck Elschlaeger, is offering an advanced GIS course that is available via distance learning. He's the smartest GIS guy I have ever met. His personal webpage is:
www.geo.hunter.cuny.edu/~chuck
And you can see the course catalog for CUNY with the class at:
http://registrar.hunter.cuny.edu/schedule/index.htm
Select "Geography and Geology" department from the menu of choices. The course code for the distance learning class is:
"GTECH 732.53 Seminar in Advanced GIScience Research"
The registars office may use different codes, but look for that class. If I were looking for an advanced online GIS course, I would DEFINITELY go with chuck!
