Dear listers, I had previously known that the difference between Geographic and Projected coordinate Systems in GIS software is relevant to the criteria of division, measurement, etc..(although not sharply descriped). i need to know how the same dataset belonging to a certain type projection (UTM for example) can be displayed in 2 different locations because i've changed the grid size. also I need to know how a projection accepts different parametrs. Briefly, here are my questions: Is there a known criteria for setting a grid size? What is the grid size relevant to?
