I want to use a NTF map within ArcView 8.1 so I used a NTF2MIF translator to convert it to a MIF file. This appears to have been successful. I then tried to use the MIF to Shapefile function under the Import to Shapefile heading in ArcToolbox to convert the MIF to a line shapefile. However this error message appears:
Unable to finish conversion.
If I then try to add the shapefile as a layer to a GIS project I get the message:
Open Failed. Error opening feature class. The table was not found. The table was not found.
Is the problem with the NTF2MIF translator or with ArcToolbox? Is there another way that I can import the orginal NTF file, or the translated MIF into ArcView?
Any help would be most appreciated,
Sarah.
