Hello List,
I seem to be having some problems with linear routes and dynamic
segmentation in ArcGIS (ArcView) 8.1. I haven't been able to find a
step-by-step set of instructions on how to develop the shapefile and
associated observation point database properly. I have created a polyline
shapefile and enabled m values. I have an MS Access database with a table
of distances that correspond with observations along my line. I am able to
define the parameters by using Tools > Add Route Events. It appears in my
table of contents that a point file has been created. But for some reason
the points do not seem to display. Has anyone else encountered this or have
I structured my datasets incorrectly?
Any help or explanation on how this works would be appreciated.
