Hello everybody, I would like to create a point-shapefile using a table containing x,y coordinates. I created an automatic procedure (Sql connection to db Oracle containing attributes data, joining to x,y address dbf): the last step of the procedure would be the creation of a shapefile (points) on the base of xy coordinates (joined to the sql table). I do not want to do it manually (add even theme, convert to shapefile) and would like to avoid the default dialog box (event theme dialog box asks you the name of table and the x,y fields). Then, ... is there any script/extension fot generating shapefiles (point) directly from a table containing x,y coordinates (without adding it as event theme to the View)??
Thanks for any help.
