Hello everyone,
I'm pleased to announce the availability of Manifold System Service Pack 2
(SP2). This final version of SP2 is r5_256 for those who have been
following the beta releases. SP2 includes 120 listed improvements.
Download SP2 for free from http://manifold.net/support/manifold_sp2.zip
Note: SP2 requires a previous Manifold 5.00 license. If you are not a 5.00
licensee there is no point in downloading the SP.
In about a week SP2 will be available on CD for $25. The CD version will
include a copy of Microsoft's SQL Server DBMS product in the Desktop Engine
edition. When the CD becomes available Enterprise Edition and Professional
with Debugger will go on sale as well.
All 5.00 users should download and install SP2. If you plan on upgrading to
Professional with Debugger or Enterprise Edition, you can use the SP2
download to get a jump on delivery. Once the new product options go on
sale, buying the upgrade on the Online Store will get you a new serial
number by email. The new serial number can be entered into the SP2
installation to convert it to Professional with Debugger or Enterprise.
