Subject: RE: GISList: Census 2000 Income
Date:  07/31/2002 03:19:23 PM
From:  Kent Hargesheimer

Rich:

The most commonly used Census 2000 data that has been released to date
for: PL-94, Summary Files 1 & 2 is all up on
http://www.freedemographics.com.

If you want Census 2000 income data in particular, you will likely have
to wait for the SF 3 release for South Carolina in the next several
months.

If you need immediate access to this type of income data, you can get it
current year estimates and a whole lot more at
http://www.demographicsnow.com. It is a subscription-based site with
demographic reporting and interactive mapping capabilities.

Feel free to call me with questions.

Thanks,

Kent Hargesheimer

Subject: GISList: Census 2000 Income

Hi List,
I know the census data released the SF3 files that contained income in
1999, found errors in them and now they are not available for download
anymore. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get these? Or if
anyone by some miracle has Horry County, South Carolina. We would like
to get them down to the Census tract level. Or does anyone know if they
can somehow be brought out from the PL4 or SF1 tables. I need to have
these if possible today so a quick reply would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance and I will sum.

Rich
