Subject: GISList: Reprojecting geography network files for MapInfo
Date:  09/15/2002 01:09:00 PM
From:  Nigel James

Hi Gina

When you use the Universal translator you have to specify a projection.
Otherwise it defaults to "non-earth" (i.e. like a page layout). Non-earth
tables cannot be overlaid as they have no referencing system (unless you
specify one). If you use geographic coordinates for your tables (i.e.
longitude/latitude in Category and Category Members in the Choose Projection
dialog) you should find they overlay OK.

best wishes

Nigel
