Subject: Re: GISList: Reprojecting geography network files for MapInfo
Date:  09/15/2002 01:09:01 PM
From:  Tadi Seetharamayya

Hello Gina,

As suggessted by Nigel is the correct solution.

But, a simple thing to be remembered when working with
Universal Translator MBX of MapInfo is that as long as
the source file format is MapInfo Tab or MapInfo
MID/MIF. The coordinate system will be read from
source. but when the source file format is Arcview,
AutoCad, intergraph etc.. we have to prove the
projection Information in the source. If not the
default non-earth is taken into consideration as
projection info.

Good Luck.

Best Regards,
Seetharamayya. Tadi
