Hello everybody
I am looking for source code of a "smart" geodesic line calculation program or a description on how such a "smart" program should look like (for a sphe= re or an ellipsoid). I have written such a procedure for the sphere and ended up with a rather large number of case distinctions in order to handle all the different (trigonometrical) posibilities and exceptions when calculating the angles at the ends of the line. I am wondering wether there isn't a "smarter" way of doing this? Is there any one out there who can help?
