Floating point exceptions can be caused by data errors, eg something that
is causing an attempt to divide by zero. That said, error messages of this
type often indicate bugs in the software. Get in touch with ESRA's user
support and see if they've got any useful suggestions.

Any input to solve the problem I have will be very
useful.
The issue is that when opening some projects (not all)
saved containing spatial analyst grids an error
message saying "FLOATING POINT EXEMPTION" appears in
my screen and I have to shut ARCVIEW down because no
other project can be opened. Of course the project in
question is permanentley lost to the extent my skills.
