Dear all,
I have recently been thinking about Geographic Markup Language (GML) from
the OpenGIS Consortium. Despite accessing the appropriate website and
documentation, I am confused. Is it possible to use GML for analysis (e.g.
for the development of a frre GIS!) or is it primarily for web-enabled
display and download?
If anybody has any thoughts onthis or knows of examples of GML-enabled
applications I would be very grateful.
