Subject: RE: GISList: Quick Question on ERDAS
Date:  11/25/2002 10:44:28 PM
From:  Dan McIntyre

Hi Alex,

If you have a sufficient area of overlap, you could mosaic the two photos t=
ogether. Then you will have one larger image file. Alternatively you could=
simply save the view. This option still leaves you the separate images.=
=20=20

What option you take will of course be determined by what things you are pl=
anning on doing with your dataset.

Regards

Dan

Subject: GISList: Quick Question on ERDAS

Dear All

I am having problems with something that I thought would have been very
simple to do. I have 2 slightly overlapping aerial photos. I have
georeferenced each one of them separately. I am able to view the 2 images
together in the same viewer on ERDAS when I layer one next to the other but
what I cannot do is save this combined image as one big image file so that I
can then go on and do other things with it. Could anyone help me out be
advising me how I can save the big image.

Thanks
Alex Thomas
